Sales Terms and Conditions

Overview
The present sales terms and conditions apply to all products and cover all sales to its customers (you) through www.galtotronic.com as orders taken over the telephone, e-mail, in person or posted to our Direct Sales Team. We reserve the right to amend the present general terms and conditions of sale at any time, with the proviso that details of all amendments are published on our website. In order to place an order and to enter into a legally binding contract with us, you must be over 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order if we find that you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Prices
Product prices are given in Australian dollars and are inclusive of all taxes (GST) and exclusive of postage and packaging costs.
For all consignments to be shipped outside of Australia, invoices are automatically calculated exclusive of taxes. Any customs duties, other local taxes, import duties or state taxes that may apply are your sole responsibility and are not payable by Galtotronic™. All orders are payable in Australian dollars.

Special Offers on our products are available for a limited period only. Where more than one promotion is offered on the same product at the same time, Galtotronic™ reserves the right to offer the customer the best deal available. Only one promotion can be claimed at any one time.

Galtotronic™ reserves the right to change its prices at any time, although products will be invoiced at the price in effect when the order was placed, subject to availability. Information relating to prices and product availability is liable to change and is given by way of indication only. Galtotronic™ reserves the right to adapt its prices to offset cost increases, e.g. salaries, material costs, and exchange rate fluctuations.

We will accept your order subject to the present general terms and conditions of sale. You can place an order in one of the following ways:

Contract details are given in English and are those in force at the time of delivery. Galtotronic™ reserves the right to cancel any order.

Invoices are normally included with your order but in certain circumstances may be sent separately, either by email or by post, within 2 working days after the package has been dispatched. Export orders must include invoices with the package.

Change of order Quantities
Changes in the quantities of an order already placed may result in a change of the applicable discount. The unit cost may be adjusted to reflect this change.

Confirmation
Order confirmation confirms the ordering process and acknowledges that you agree to the order as well as to the present sale terms and conditions, in their entirety and without exception.

Data recorded by Galtotronic™ constitutes proof of all transactions between Galtotronic™ and its customers. Data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions. Customer orders are binding only if Galtotronic™ has confirmed them in writing or in e-mail.

The delivery time is specified in the confirmation of order/contract. The delivery time may be extended due to unforeseen circumstances such as events (epidemic, earthquake, etc), war, as well as delivery delays from our material suppliers.

Cancellations
Cancellations of orders must be made in writing and have to be confirmed by Galtotronic™. Any additional administrative costs already incurred by Galtotronic, must be paid by the customer.

Dispatch
The method of dispatch may be selected by the customer. Without any shipping instructions from the customer, we reserve us the right to arrange the dispatch by any forwarder/courier of our choice. Any complaints regarding damage, delays or loss must be forwarded to Galtotronic™ in written form within 48 hours from the receipt of the goods. Complaints of suspected bad packing must be forwarded to Galtotronic on the date of receipt.

Return of Goods
The return of defect goods requires written approval of Galtotronic™ before the dispatch. For a return during the warranty period, the costs of the shipping the item(s) back to the customer will be paid by Galtotronic™. The charges for the shipping the item(s) to Galtotronic™ must be paid by the customer. For goods returned after the warranty period, the shipping costs for both ways must be fully paid by the customer.

Please, take great care when returning your goods to us. The customer is responsible for returning the goods to the supplier without damage. We recommend that you use the package material that was used for the delivery. Protect the goods against mechanical stress. Insure your returned goods.

Availability
Product and prices are valid as quoted and are subject to stock availability. Information on product availability is provided when you place an order. These details are given for information purposes only and are not binding.

Should a product be unavailable after you have placed your order, we will let you know as soon as possible by phone, email or by post. In this instance you can ask for your order to be cancelled or exchanged by contacting our Sales Team.

There is no partial despatch of goods. If only part of the order is available, our Sales Team will contact you to check whether partial delivery is acceptable. Only goods that are delivered will be charged for.


Delivery (Postage and Packing)
Please refer to our “Delivery Terms and Conditions”. It is strongly recommended to combine several items in one order rather than order items individually. We are unable to combine orders placed separately and you will thus be liable to pay separate delivery costs for each order. For all orders, we need to have your telephone number and any information that will assist delivery.


Payment
You have a choice of payment methods. You can either:

Pay by cheque or money order - include your order number with your signed cheque. Cheques must be issued by a recognised Australian bank and money orders must be an Australia Post money order. Please attach the tax invoice number.
Electronic transfer - Please show the tax invoice number in the description field.
Online orders - For online orders, simply order by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button. You will then be directed to a PayPal shopping cart where you can change the quantity desired, continue shopping, or proceed to a secured checkout. Please notice that if you don't have a "PayPal account" you can still proceed your order by clicking "Continue" on the shopping cart order (Bottom Left side).
 

Condition of Ownership
All goods remain the property of Galtotronic™ until receipt of payment in full. This provision does not affect transfer to the customer of all risks of loss or damage from the moment the goods leave our premises.

Warranty
Despite careful testing of our equipment, component or functional failures may occur. Galtotronic™ grants you a warranty from date of delivery. Please refer to each product specifications for more information on this matter.

Defective components will be replaced or repaired free of charge. No liability is taken for any other claims which may arise due to consequential damage arising from the use of this product. Damage resulting from non-authorized modifications to this equipment by third parties is hereby disclaimed.

Shipping costs for equipment returned to Galtotronic™ will be paid by the customer. In case of repairs within the warranty period, Galtotronic™ will carry the costs of return shipping to the customer. Please refer to our “Warranty Terms and Conditions”.

Responsibility
All products offered for sale are subject to the requirements of Australian law. Galtotronic™ cannot be held responsible for any failure to meet the requirements of the legislation of any other country where products are delivered. Galtotronic™ cannot be held responsible in the event of force majeure, political upheaval, total or partial strike action affecting in particular postal services, transportation and/or communications services, flood and fire.

Obligations
The products of Galtotronic™ are sold on the basis of technical specifications valid at the time of sale. Galtotronic™ has no obligations to upgrade or modify equipment already sold.

Applicable law
This Agreement shall be construed and performed in accordance with and shall be governed by Australian law and you should submit to the jurisdiction of the Australian Courts.

Privacy Policy
Galtotronic™ is committed to protecting you and your family’s privacy when you visit our website or use electronic services, such as product registration, technical support and product downloads. Galtotronic™ understands your desire to protect personal information and only emails to customers who have agreed to receive our mailings. If, at any time, you want to stop receiving any emails from Galtotronic™, please unsubscribe. We use the information in the following ways:

1. To provide you with information about new products, product upgrades, services, newsletters.

2. To provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you.

3. To provide you with access to exclusive information.

4. Fulfilling competition prizes.

5. Other Galtotronic marketing purposes.


We DO NOT share your information with any 3rd parties and it is not displayed on our websites (excluding competition winner.

When you place orders you are using the well-known PayPal secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

By using our WEB site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Galtotronic™. If we decide to change our policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
